Two-piece walnut china press, secondary wood yellow pine; 2 glass doors of 8 panes each. 4 locks with brass escutcheons; 2 drawers with Hepplewhite oval brass pulls with bail handle; and pair flat paneled doors in lower section.
Especially well designed ogee bracket feet with scrolls, etc. Unusual in regional furniture. Deep bold cove cornice at top. Tall piece like much Southern furniture of this period.
Said to have come to the Hinsdale family from the Lanes.
