Five dollar note printed by Hall and Sellers in Philadelphia. Has one authorizing signature (possibly of Horatio Johnson of Maryland) and several bits of mica embedded. Part of a series issued by the Continental Congress on Feb. 17, 1776. Excellent printers' devices on both sides.
